Hosted phone systemsThe phone system without the cabinet
Rather than forcing users and devices into a generic bundle, ONETEC scopes the system around your sites, call handling and support needs.
A cloud PBX runs the phone system in a data centre rather than in a cabinet on your wall. You still get desk phones, extensions, transfers, hold music, auto-attendants and voicemail — what changes is where the system lives and who maintains it.
That shifts the day-to-day. Adding a user, changing where a number rings or moving someone between sites happens in a web console instead of a technician visit, and staff can take an extension with them on a laptop or phone.
It also shifts the dependency. With no box on site, the internet connection becomes the phone line, so the connection underneath it is part of the design rather than an afterthought — which is why we scope both together.
